UK Spouse Visa is a trading name of Primus Solicitors Limited, First Floor, 402 Palatine Road, Northenden, Manchester M22 4FZ, the controller of personal information you give us through this website. This notice explains what we collect, why, and your rights.
What we collect
- Enquiries and bookings: your name, phone, email, the route you are asking about, what you tell us about your situation, any document you upload, and the page you sent it from.
- Website use: with your consent, analytics and advertising cookies (see the cookie settings); without it, only the data needed to serve the page securely.
- Clients: the information needed to prepare your application, including passports, financial records, relationship evidence and immigration history, some of which is special category data.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry, to provide the consultation or legal work you ask for (performance of a contract, and legitimate interests in running the firm), to meet our regulatory and anti-money-laundering obligations (legal obligation), and, with your consent, to measure the website and show our advertising.
Who sees it
Our staff, our IT and email providers (Microsoft 365, Cloudflare, Resend for website email, Stripe for payments, Google for analytics where you consent), counsel and experts instructed on your case, and the Home Office and tribunals where the work requires it. We do not sell personal information. Some providers process data outside the UK under standard contractual safeguards.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become instructions are deleted after 12 months. Client files are kept for six years after the matter closes, as our regulator and insurers require, then destroyed. Booking records are kept for six years for accounting.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, correct it, ask us to delete it where we have no need to keep it, object to or restrict some uses, and withdraw consent for cookies at any time. Email info@ukspousevisa.co.uk. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Analytics (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, which records anonymised visits and heatmaps) and advertising (Google Ads) cookies are set only if you accept them in the banner, and you can change your choice from the cookie settings link in the footer.
